Top Prize
Kiri Deonarine, Soprano has begun a wonderful career in opera appearing as Sophie in Werther and the Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel with the Lyric Opera of Chicago in 2012. Has also appeared with Santa Fe Opera and Houston Grand Opera. Soloist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in the Faure Requiem. Winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Grand Finalist. Grand Finalist Winner of the metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.

First Prize
Zachary Nelson, Baritone is a third year resident at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Has recently received First Prizes in the following competitions, The George London, The Liederkranz, and Opera Index. Has appeared with the Lyric Opera of Virginia as Germont in La Traviata. This coming summer he will join the Santa Fe Opera. Has also appeared with Opera Orchestra of New York and Glimmerglass Opera.

Second Prize
Audrey Luna, Soprano. This season she joins the roster with the Metropolitan Opera as Ariel in The Tempest. Will appear as Zerbinetta in Ariadne of Naxos at the Fort Worth Opera in 2013. Appeared as Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute with The Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Metropolitan Opera. Has appeared at the Spoletto Festival, Santa Fe Opera, San Antonio Opera, Pittsburgh Opera and with the New York Philharmonic

Third Prize
Luigi Boccia, Tenor is Resident Artist at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Also studied at the University of Pavia in Italy. Made his opera debut at the Wexford Festival in La Cour de Celimene. Has appeared as Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi in Opera Tampa. Appeared as Alfredo with the Marcello Giordani Opera Lyrica in Sicily and at Opera At Florham. Also appeared in Handel’s Messiah in Carnegie Hall.

Fourth Prize
Scott Conner, Bass is Resident Artist at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Will be appearing with the Dresden Semper Oper in 2012/13 as Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Sparafucile in Rigoletto, Colline in La Boheme. Will also be making his debut with Festival d’Aix en Provence, Opera de Lille, Glyndebourne Festival Opera. First Place Winner in the Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition.

Fifth Prize
Alexander Lewis, Tenor is in his 2nd year of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. He recently made his Metropolitan Opera debut in Manon and performed the role of Artemidore in the LYADP’s performances of Gluck's Armide. He performed the role of Vasek in the Met-Juilliard production of The Bartered Bride, under the baton of Maestro James Levine. Also appeared with the Merola Opera in San Francisco.

Grant Winners
Noah Baetge, Tenor has made his debut with the Metropolitan Opera in Ariadne of Naxos. Has also appeared with the Pittsburgh Opera, Spokane Opera, and Seattle Opera. Resident Artist at the Pittsburgh Opera, Seattle Opera Young Artist Program and the Music Academy of the West. Has received many awards including the Metropolitan Opera National Council Grand Finalist and The Gerda Lissner First Prize in 2012.
Zach Borichevsky, Tenor studied at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. In 2012 he will be appearing with the Santa Fe Opera as Matteo in Arabella and as Romeo in Romeo et Juliette with the Arizona Opera. Has appeared with the Knoxville Opera, The Castleton Festival, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Boston Lyric Opera, Glimmerglass Opera and with the Philadelphia Orchestra in Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
John Brancy, Baritone completed his Bachelor and Master of Music at Juilliard School. Was baritone soloist in the Schubert Mass in G for Mid-America Productions in Avery Fisher Hall in 2012. Also appeared with Opera on the Avalon Festival as Sid in Albert Herring. Also appeared in concert with the Nurnberg Symphony Orchestra, and the Caramoor Festival. Has received many awards from International Vocal Competitions.
Anthony C. Evans, Baritone was a Grand Finals Winner 2012 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Was a Finalist in the Orpheus Vocal Competition, Murfreesboro, TN. Has performed Marcello in La Boheme and Don Alfonso in Cosi Fan Tutti in the Opera in the Ozarks. Has performed as soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Owensboro and Paducah Chorals. He was First Prize Winner in the Giulio Gari Vocal Competition in 2012 in New York.
Norman Garrett, Baritone studied at the Academy of Vocal Arts and will now be in the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program with the Washington National Opera. Will be appearing with the Glimmerglass Opera Festival, with the Philadelphia Center City Opera Theater in 2012. Has also appeared with the Kentucky Opera as Escamillo in Carmen. Won 3rd Prize in the Gerda Lissner Vocal Competition and Grant Winner Giulio Gari Vocal Competition.
Tobias Lee Greenhalgh, Baritone studied at Juilliard School and appeared in many of their opera productions. Sang recital of Liederabend with Ken Noda. Has appeared with the New York Festival of Song in New York City. Appeared in concert with orchestra in Neumarkt, Germany. Was part of Johanna Meier Opera Institute and will be appearing at the Music Academy of the West Program in Santa Barbara, California.
Alexander Hajek, Baritone studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada and Juilliard School. Appeared in Juilliard/Metropolitan Opera Productions of Armide. Has appeared with the Canadian Opera Company, the Chautauqua Institution, Opera Hamilton, Centre for Opera Studies in Italy. Made appearances with the Ottawa Choral Society, Canadian National Academy Orchestra.
Steven LaBrie, Baritone studied at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia and was a member of the Young American Artist Program at Glimmerglass Opera and at Crested Butte Music Festival. Sang Schaunard in La Boheme at Opera Santa Barbara. Also has appeared with the Dallas Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Gotham Chamber Opera, and Opera New Jersey. In 2012 received 2nd Place in the Gerda Lissner Vocal Competition.
Yasmine Levi-Ellentuck, Soprano studied at the Jerusalem Music Academy and the Israeli Opera Studio. Was in the Student Exchange Opera Program in Karlsruhe, Germany. Also a member of the International Vocal Arts Institute summer program in Israel. Has appeared in concert at Carnegie Hall and has received a number of Awards from the Gerda Lissner Foundation, The Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation and the Giulio Gari Foundation.
D'Ana Lombard, Soprano. Educated at SUNY Purchase College and studying for her Master of Music degree at Mannes. Has appeared with the Caramoor Festival and has received a number of Awards from The Gerda Lissner Foundation, The Marcello Giordani Foundation, The Giulio Gari Foundation and the MONC Great Promise Award in 2011. Was part of the Gala Performance for Jessye Norman in New York.
Eric Margiore, Tenor. 2011/2012 have been very busy seasons for the young tenor including what was his official European and German debut and role debut as Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi at the Deutsche Opera am Rhein in Dusseldorf, Germany. He then reprised a role he has done often, Alfredo in La Traviata, this time with the Hawaii Opera Theatre and for the Minnesota Opera followed by his London, UK debut.
Takaoki Onishi, Baritone received First Prize at the Juilliard Voice Competition and studies at Juilliard with a full scholarship. Received First Prize in Voice Competition in Tokyo and the famous Concorso di Lirica in Italy. Has sung in concert in Tokyo, Japan the Verdi and Mozart Requiem. Received a 2012 Third Prize Award from the Gerda Lissner Vocal Competition and a Grant from the Giulio Gari Vocal Competition.
Nicholas Pallesen, Baritone. Winner of the Richard Tucker Career Grant 2012. Will be appearing at the Metropolitan Opera in 2012/13 and has been appearing at the New York City Opera as Sharpless in Butterfly and in Capriccio. He also appeared at the Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Santa Fe Opera, El Paso Opera, Castleton Festival Opera and in the famous Festival of Opera in Rome. Winner of many Awards from famous Vocal Competitions.
Olivia Vote, Mezzo Soprano. Resident Artist at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Will be appearing with the Wolf Trap Opera as Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni. Has appeared with the Opera Company of Philadelphia, Opera Theater of St. Louis, Annapolis Opera. Has sung with the Yale Philharmonia, Alba Music Festival in Italy and just won 2nd Place with the Gerda Lissner Foundation and the Loren L. Zachary Society in California.
Jonathan Winell, Tenor. Studied at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Appeared with opera Orchestra of New York as Baroncelli in Rienzi. Has appeared with the Di Capo Opera, Central City Opera, and the Connecticut Concert Opera. Was a tenor soloist with the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra. Was a 3rd Place Winner with the Gerda Lissner Vocal Competition, Fifth Place Winner for the Giulio Gari Vocal Competition 2012.
